Jaret Von Rosenberg Takes Over as New Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Texas A&M University-Commerce

Jaret von Rosenberg will be the new head men’s basketball coach, continuing his eighth season as a collegiate coach.

Previously, Rosenberg served as an assistant coach at A&M-Commerce, helping to lead the Lions to the 2015 Lone Star Conference Championship and to a top 10 national ranking.

“I will work every day to make this university and community proud of our program and its members,” said Rosenberg. “Sarah, Jaxon, and I are so blessed to have true friends in the City of Commerce, and can’t wait to become more ingrained in the community and raise our family here.”

Rosenburg replaces former head men’s basketball coach Sam Walker who was named Executive Director of Alumni Engagement last month. Walker, a 1993 East Texas State graduate, led the Lions basketball program for 17 seasons.
