DISD Superintendent Mike Miles to Visit University

DISD Superintendent Mike Miles to Visit University

Dallas ISD Superintendent Mike Miles will visit the A&M-Commerce campus on Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 11:00 a.m. to speak about the importance of excellence in teacher education.

Miles will meet with university officials including President Dan R. Jones, Provost Adolfo Benavides and Director of Media Relations Noah Nelson. He will also speak to, and interact with, approximately 20 faculty from the College of Education and Human Services to discuss the importance of educating teachers.

A&M-Commerce has a longstanding tradition of educating teachers and the Online College Database ranked the university #6 among colleges in Texas that are “shaping the next generation” through teacher education.
