Christina Wan Receives TACUSPA Fellows Award

A Texas A&M University-Commerce Hall Director, Christina Wan, recently received the TACUSPA Fellows Award. She is one of four young professionals in the state of Texas to receive this award.

“Christina is a shining example of a young student professional who is destined to make a difference in the lives of so many students,” said John Kaulfus, Assistant Vice President/Dean of Campus Life and Student Development. “Everything Christina does for our students embodies all that student affairs stands for on a daily basis. As current President of TACUSPA, I am so proud that Christina is representing both A&M-Commerce and TACUSPA. We are so lucky to be a part of her professional journey.”

The TACUSPA Fellowship Program offers graduate students and new professionals opportunities to network and engage in activities designed to promote the pursuit of a career in higher education and student affairs.

“I am so proud of Christina and her accomplishment!” said Dennis Koch, Director of Residential Living and Learning. “Christina continues to soar and achieve without ever forgetting she is here for the students. This is one of many accomplishments that shows she is a lifelong learner and leads by example. All of us in Residential Living and Learning are proud to work with Christina and have her as a member of our team!”

The Texas Association of College and University Student Personnel Administrators (TACUSPA) is dedicated to the development, support and promotion of the student affairs profession in the state of Texas. This is done through professional networking, development and advocacy for students.
